Well it's more of a better-than-nothing scenario. I've never ran with one so I can't speak to that, and as far as the K&N, I think its something with the MAP sensor in our cars, either that or it coats the MAF and/or Oxygen sensor.

For the most part I think it is just our cars, but I defer to someone who knows that they are talking about LOL
