Hi guys,
I have a 2001 Audi A4 1.8T Quattro.I am considering to change my muffler (Right now its a turbine muffler) its too LOUD. I want to change it back to stock so i can just enjoy the ride. My question is how do i know if i need to change the whole exhaust piping or just the muffler? What exhaust has the closest sound to the stock exhaust? also if anyone have a stock muffler please tell me as i am looking for one right now

 

you just need to replace the muffler, the piping is just that. I just got my stock one replaced and can call the shop and ask if they still have the stock muffler, but i think there was actually two mufflers under there. I'll let you know.

 

oh, i have a 2000 A4 1.8T quattro and i think the stockers are the same for our year models.
