Hey guys,

My first post here on this forum. I just bought myself an Audi A6 4.2L year 2002 from some dude and this is my first car.

Looking at the exterior its in not-bad shape.. But the interior is just horrible. The seats are ok (surprisingly) but everything that has to do with the dash is messed up.

In the center console I think there is supposed to be a control **** which is missing, the **** to turn on the head lights works but its so scratched up that I can't tell what setting it's at, the radio display is blacked out, and a bunch of other missing/scratched up buttons that are un-readable.

I was just wondering if I should look for the parts myself and do it myself or if I should take it to the dealer so they can somewhat restore the whole dash ?

Again this is my first car and i'm scared to mess with it. What would you guys do? I want my new baby to be in pristine condition!

Dealer prices would be ridiculous.. Some of the stuff is a little involved to change, but I'm sure you can find the info.. The center **** could either be for the mirror adjustment or the NAV...
