Default Adding neon lights

Anyone done this themselves? i want to add neon lights into the pocket on the side of the door on both the passenger and the driver's side. problem is how would i go about doing the wiring? (getting the wiring from the door to under the dash, all hidden)

cheers

i would imagine that you would have to take the door panel off and put a small hole in it to run the wire through and then just follow the wires that already go from the door through the rubber grommet in the hinge area of the door... and then under the dash pull the side panel by your feet and get the wires through there

yeah but i didnt want to drill holes
the light thats already by the door... doesnt that turn off when the door closes? hmm good suggestion for future possible plans..

anyways i spend 5 hours mounting it below the steering wheel (above driver feet) and same on the passengers side... gosh it was a pain!

Unless you have a honda i would never do something like this to my audi. Just my opinion!

But i would imagine you must take the door panel off and then run it through the little black tub that all the window and lock wires run through. I think that would be easiest... "cleanest" idea.

Please don't add neon lights to any vehicle, especially not nice ones.

Just a suggestion but why not try to change all the bulbs in the car to the color of choice. I thinkIt would look alot better then neon bar under your seats. And u just swap out bulbs.

Neon + Audi = criminally poor idea. But hey, do whatever makes you happy. I have a racing stripe on mine!
