Hey I'm looking for somewhere nice to put 3 gauges but don't really want to put them in the center vents. 2001 A4 so there's airbags in the pillars. Thought about maybe DIN mounting them above or below the stereo, but not sure how it will turn out.

Will you guys please post your ideas, suggestions, and/or PICS here to help me decide?

This is the best thing to do for sure. You mount it at the center.

 

Im im doing is mounting 2 right into the ash tray cover so its flush... and the 3rd is already in my AC vent.

what about a-pillar gauge pods...ive been looking so hard for one.

But it says for only 96-98 a4's did the pillar shape change after that?

 

for the cars with airbags in the a-pillars i hear there is NO room for wiring, etc, plus its "less safe" if you ever need those airbags, knock on wood. I really do like the look of that though.
