Hi everyone, I am new to this forum and I was hoping someone maybe able to help. I have a 1998 Audi A3 and I have a problem with my glove box. The glove box no longer shuts as there is a problem with the latch/lock. My audi dealer did temporarily fix this, but the only problem here was that I had to always make sure that the glove box was locked. However, after using the glove box recently, it's now once again not closing at all. I am planning on going back to the audi dealer later this week to try and get the glove box fixed. I was wandering if anybody else has had similar experiences and what they have done to repair this. Thanks.

 

Why not just replace the latch. I am sure they are available on line or at a salvage yard.
