Hardwood floors in the trunk B5 A4!
Ya it was def. for looks and not at all for performance hahaha. I thinking of doing a custom sub enclosure in the space behind the driver's side taillight just to still keep the storage space. Also, i would need to put the amp in there after as well so maybe behind the cd changer.
I was thinking about putting a gas shock thing similar to the ones that help lift the hood under the hardwood so accessing the spare tire is a bit more lighter to pull up and maybe a full size spare if i can make it fit. Other than that i don't know if there is that much, any other ideas for something useful.

yea getting to the spare with equipment in the trunk is fun. i have subs in the rear but managed to keep room for my golf clubs. Thats all the storage space i need. And i can still access my spare without having to pull anything out.
You can do piano hinges underneath so that the panels are seamless. I think some dark bamboo might look good in the TT. But I would have a lot more area to cover. I would like to make one out of CF. Build a front and back panel with the hinges underneath. Would look like one sheet of CF. Kinda like the convertible hard tops that are becoming popular.
