How to remove interior panels
Hi, I'm having a small problem with my Audi A6 Avant stationcar from 2000:
The seatbelt in the drivers seat was twisted, and as many has observed, it was totaly impossible to twist the belt and squeze it through the buckle. So I got the "engineous" idea to pull the belt completely out, twist it and then squeze it back through the hole where it comes out.
It worked - sort of. Now my belt is not twisted, but it is also not retracted as it was before, leaving most of the "used" belt hanging in the cabin - and often being stuck in the door when I close it.
Even if I pull the belt max. out, I can not get the twist out again.
So how do I unmount the fiber panels that cover the belt mechanism ? This will include the part where the belt is adjusted in hight. I don't see any screws - is it simply a matter of "breaking" the panel loose with a screwdriver, or will that mess things even more up ?
Hoping for a little help before I seriously break my Audi !
