like this. running to the aux. from my CD changer. now all the Cds get loaded on my iphone. so no need for the changer Im offering these visor mounts for $25 shipped. most of that is labor, because these arent easy to make.

So I am gonna be making a dock for my car as soon as I sell these rims... Any advice? I am going to be using bondo some CF and either an iPod dock or custom wiring. What do your think about using a clear hard iphone case to use as a lower support in the dock?

So your not gonna provide me w/ any info? I want to wire the line out of the iPod to the aux like you did. I pretty much have it figured it out as there is some info on it out there but my plans go a little farther then most of them and most of them don't say whether they are 3g compatible. I want to have the option of RCA outs on the dock in case I get a GPS and want to connect to the screen. Just wondered what you used to do your wiring?

the wiring isnt done yet. Im still waiting for peripheral electronics to release the kit that allows me to charge my phone while using it for tunes. my comment about giving too much info was a reference to the process I make the mount with. not the wiring process. As far as the wiring goes, im waiting till mid jan to get that done. for now, I keep it where it is for hands free phone calls.

what dont you have figured out yet? I know most of what I need. the ony thing Im not 100% sure on is 1 connection. since Im using my CD changer AUX, what (vehicle specific) harness/connection do I need to connect the peripheral setup to? Ive been told its kinda like phone jack? and Ive also been told it could be regular old AV (red, white) plugs? this is the only thing Im not sure about yet. I have heard that AUDI sells this connection/harness. once I get dialed in Im gonna be lovin it. no more BS with the changer. And TONS of free sat radio applications. as it is now, I can read the for sale forums while I wait at a light.
