Hey i have a 98 Audi A4 1.8T Quattro and i wanted to get neons for the interior of the car. the car is black and all the dash lights are red so i thought putting red neons under the dash and under the seats would look nice, but i dont wana get some crappy ricer neons. Anyone know of some really good neons, preferably with a switch so i could turn them on and off whenever i want? also they would have to stand up to the insane bass in the car. i have a 1500 watt rockford fosgate amp pushing 2 12's and it has already knocked out my passenger light that is underneath the dash so i need neons that wont go out on me. thanx for any help

 

I am getting some installed this week, when I do I will let you know what kind. The guys told me that these can with stand anything, I hope so because I am also putting in two sealed solobaric L7 12s each powered by a power 1000...loud stuff. Email me so I remember to tell you.

I personally would go to a local car toys. I have a 2000 S4 and i'm runnin a memphis 1500amp with two 12's. and it hits pretty damn hard also. I have two blue neons on the driver and passanger side of the dash and they dont go out or even blink the littlest bit. Plus at car toys you'll have a warrenty and a quality job. and they can put in a switch on your dash or where ever, rather than the cheap **** that hooks that box to the side of your car. just my opionion but i can ganrantee it will work from experiance.

 

It makes me cringe to hear neons and audis in the same paragraph. I would keep it classy and not do it.

 

Personally I think all neons are ricey, but check out streetglow if you decide to continue with this idea.

 

i wouldnt put neons in my audi, personally, but i think that if you do, please post pictures to see if it actually looks good.

Is this the new trend? Do I need to go and get a bunch of neon lights and put them all over and in my car? yeah I don't think so.
