Default Parcel Shelf Clip issue

Hi All, not sure if this is the correct place in the forum but its an interior problem so here goes.

I recently bought an 04 Audi A3 and after a day or two I noticed the parcel shelf clips in the boot were missing. Not a big issue I thought and bought some new clips and fitted them - however the other day when opening the boot the clips came out. I was wondering if anyones had this issue that the clips are not fitted well enough to support the weight of the shelf - The replacement clips I got delivered from an Audi dealership so they should be the correct ones.

Any advice or better clips out there?

Thanks

Mate...I've just bought some of these clips, as we have the same problem...how did you fit them...it seems you missed a simple installation process...and I probably will do as well...lol...

Just make sure you push the centre bit through into the hole. It's like long version of a press stud.

These clips have a round metal clip-on piece on the end I assume you plug in the the trim. I was actually thinking I had to completely remove the trim, so I could put the clip through the hole, and attach the metal clip-on on the other side, so it holds secure. Is that not the case? I've tried just pushing these clips in hard, but that doesn't seem to work. Dammit! Any suggestions mate?
