Removing the vent on top of the dashboard
Hey guys-here's the story.
My car is a 2003 a4, and it's recently developed a rattle coming from the center of the dashboard (usually on rough pavement or at low RPM and light throttle). When I press down on the dash near the large vent/speaker/light sensor, it stops, so I'm guessing it's in there.
I've seen similar dash rattles solved for these cars by wedging some foam in there, but I haven't been able to find any pictures or info on how to remove that top vent.
I'm sure it's the usual pry it out method, but does anybody know if (and where) there are any clips to be aware of when taking the piece out? Thanks!
