where do you guys get your chips from? iam trying to find a place that is some what close to Minnesota to get a chip but iam drawing a blank...so i was hoping you guys could help me out. thanks 98 a4 1.8t 5spd quattro stock ko3

 

What type of chip are you looking for? APR? GIAC? If its APR and there is no where around you to go then I would try ordering one from ECS Tuning, located in Cleveland. They pay for next day shipping both ways. Not sure what the price of the chip would be for your car but for mine (probably the same) it was $400 for one program. All you do is take the ECU out (very easy, there's a DIY on it) print out the prepaid label, box it up and drop it off at a UPS/FedEX ship site (like STAPLES the office supply store). Just call the ship site before hand and see what time their last pick up is to make sure it goes out that day. The whole process takes three days. You ship, they recieve and chip your ecu and put it back in the mail the same day, then you recieve it on the third day. Then just put the ECU back in and enjoy.
