Default Helping a new audi owner in Northern IN.

Hi, I am picking up a 2001 audi A4 2.8 quattro this morning and it has the usual stuck climate control keys. I see the process to get those cleaned, but I am terrified to take apart my new to me car the first few days I have it. Just wondering if anybody near the notre dame area has any clue on how to take care of it. You will be compensated for your time. Feel free to pm reply to this message or email me at paulkassan@comcast.net with any help you can give me including any tips on how to correct it without ripping the dash apart, but I'd rather hook up someone in my new "family" to help me out with this.

Thanks

When I bought mine a few months ago I had the same problem. I could have done it myself, but the used car salesman did it for me. I don't remember the detail of where each screw is, but you basically remove the thing and and then carefully pop the plastic front off and run it under some hot water for a while. I'm currently located in Danville, IL, soon to move to Lafayette, so I'm reasonably close.
