Hey everyone. My name is Tony and I'm out in California. I've been a member here for awhile but I haven't had the time to sit down and start reading, so I figured I'd start with this!
I bought a brilliant black 1.8t b5 a4 nearly 3 years ago with 117xxx miles, bone stock, and instantly fell in love. After 3 years and 30,000 miles later, I feel that my baby deserves to finally get her wings. I'm looking forward to using these forums and learning everything I can about my car, getting some tips here and there, and hopefully one day become the proud owner of a fully functional Stage III+ 1.8t.
I'll stop there and begin searching the forums, learning what I can and maybe even helping others with their 1.8's as well. Hope to talk to you all soon!

Hi everyone! I just replaced my '04 1.8T Quattro A4 (manual) with the '13 2.0T Quattro A4 (also manual). I've been told that this forum is a great source for anything Audi related. I always felt so clueless when I would have my previous car serviced since I didn't have anyone I could bounce the information I was receiving from the mechanic off of. I shouldn't have much to worry about for quite some time with my new car, but it's never too early to start learning!

havnt even had time to join the forum before my Audi TT died out the other day. Dont know if its the fuel pump, speed sensor, fuel pressure regulator, crankshaft sensor, maybe fuel filter?? it just lost power and wouldnt accelerate, actiing like it wasnt getting gas and dont know how to check for myself. Suggestions??? (the CTS was bad, already replaced it. The oxygen sensor is bad, but dont think thats causing this problem). Hate to complain as a new member, but would REALLY appreciate any advice on what my next step should be.. THANKS

Just brought an A4 2003 1.8 Convertible with 50k miles on the clock to replace my Z3 early signs don't look promising as been in garage more than on the road. Why is it when you test drive & inspect there are never any tell tale signs. Now found an oil leak. Agh! Time will tell.
