Terrence here from Texas and I'm new to the Audi experience. All I can say so far is "wow!" I just purchased a 2012 S4 and this beast has already knocked my socks off. I'm not looking to upgrade any more than whats already been done to it prior to me buying it but I'm sure I'll have tons of questions.

Default New member wth 2001 A8

I,

Just joined today after buying a 2001 Audi A8 Quattro on Monday. I already have a Mercedes CLK 240 convertible, so now I am ready for all weathers!

I am 65 and expecting to retire this Christmas from my job as a sales Director. After a lifetime of Company cars, and paying tax for the pleasure, I gave my car back last September and now run my own vehicle.

I bought the Audi as part of my MLC (mid life crisis), as I have always wanted a vehicle to have as a hobby, but in truth I am too old to do much more than clean it!

I have a few queries about the Audi and hope that you can help with these and any future questions!

Thanks

Derek

Default Hello all,

Been an Audiphile for 20 years; but actually, the first I owned was a 1974 100LS. Wish I had it now! Others have been an 87 5000 quattro (non turbo), 92 100 Avant, 95 90 quattro, several A6 sedans of various years, and a current 95 A6 Avant. Took a brief two year hiatus and just resurrected the 95 from the grave. . .having fun again! Look forward to connecting with some folks here - Spaktacular

Welcome!

No worries about posting your problem prior to posting your intro. Most people do it annoyingly different... Posting their problem within their introduction, and no where else. So, I have to continually cruise the new member area, moving posts and intro threads to the appropriate sub-forums, so they can be seen/addressed/answered. Most regular members rarely, if ever, visit teh new member area.

Problems? Issues? Complaints? I, and your local Admin/Mod staff are only a PM away.
