My name is Richard and I am a newbie to this forum. I own a 2009 Audi A-4 2.0T with about 17200 miles on it. I had my 15000 mile oil change and servicing early (12500 miles) back in Sept 2010. I added a qt of 5W30 Mobile 1 in mid Jan 2011 at 15900 miles. I just added another qt last week at 17100. I had heard and read that Audi's have a reputation for burning oil; I think this is a bit ridiculous. Does anyone out there have any suggestions or thoughts on what's going on? Any input will be greatly appreciated.
I spoke with my Audi service tech today who assured me that my recent oil additions were normal due to the nature of the turbo feature. An additional qt every 1400 miles is to be expected. Well, let me say that I'm not happy about this characteristic but what can I say or do but to grin and add it whenever ....
Been following Audi for a while, but it wasnt until last month when
i had my 97 accord stolen that I had to purchase a new vehicle and said "what the heck, might as well." So i got a 2002 A4 FWD. Looking to do some light exterior mods.

Hey everyone, just bought my first Audi, an 04 S4, I love the car, I traded in a BMW 545i to get it, I love it much more than the bimmer, the kids dont love the leg room situation, but overall its feels like a better car
Hello fellow audi owners Im Scot and I have a 2000 A6 and absolutely love this car, it has the V8 which is extremely fun. I am capable of doing alot of the required maint and repairs on this, but its nice to have this forum so I can get tips from others who have already done or just know how to do what I may be trying to do. A great starting point cause after all I love talking about my car especially with people who do also
I do have a question, My a6 when I start in morning it will initially rev high and when rpm's come down, it starts to spit and sputter and sounds like almost a backfire in intake, I can turn of and re-start and all is fine, and then when I'm driving and come to a stop, the rpms go way down and sometimes it will stall. Just feels like the computer calling for the right fuel amount or something. Could this have anything to do with possibly a MAP sensor
