Hey all! Just got my first Audi. I live just outside of Raleigh, NC. I like to do all my own maint. and repairs unless it involves paint. I shouldn't say like its more like I prefer to do all my own maint. and repairs. I used to be a service mechanic so I can do most anything though I usually dont have time to do it. So, what special tools do I need to buy to carry out regular maint. and maybe a t-belt service. Looking forward to the switch.
Hello everyone,
Well, I just want to begin my introduction by telling everyone in the world that AUDI'S ARE THE SEXIEST CARS ON PLANET!!! I don't care what people say, but to me, they are. Well, I own an AUDI A4, 1.8T, QUATTRO, 05'. I gought it in summer of 2004 and have had no problem with him so far. I haven't done much to it, but I wuold like to hear a few tips on how I can make it a little faster, but without spending lots of $$$. I soon as I get a chance I will post some pics. AUDI4EVER!

My son (16 years) found a wonderful A4 which we cleaned up and put a stereo system in for him to drive to high school. As typically happens at that age he had an accident. I was thankful that he was in a well constructed vehicle or I am sure he and his friends would have been seriously injured. He is much wiser after this but heartbroke at the loss of the car. If anybody in this part of the country happens to have an older Audi like this we may be interested.

As it turned out though, she has upgraded to a 2005.5 B7; her choice and now she is paying for it

My wife loves Audi's so I need to learn to love fixing them. We have a 2002 1.8t and a 2005 2.0t. I am in the process of replacing a pickup tube on the 2002 right now and appreciate you allowing me access to the endless amounts of information supplied on this forum. I hope to be able to help out as time goes.
Hi all, I just bought a 1998 A6 quattro today. I've owned a few Audis in the past, but none for 15 years. It was listed online here in my town with a blown tranny, but I picked it up for a song, and it is the perfect winter car for me (I like AWD and heated leather seats). I haven't even lifted the hood yet, so I don't know which engine it has, or which transmission it has (apparently there are 3 options for the quattro automatic??) I'll surely be reading lots of threads here for a while so you'll probably see me around. I'll be looking forward to some good tips from the rest of you, who all could teach me a thing or two. Cheers!
