New guy here. Looking to buy my first Audi. It is between a 04 S4 30000 miles good conditionand a 05 A4 1.8 S-line Quattro 29500 miles also in good condition. There is about $6000.00 pricedifference between the two. Wife wants the newer car and of coarse I'd like to go for the S4. Is there anything I should know about these two particular cars. Thanks.Looking forward to owning my first Audi.

 

Tell the wifey that she'll reap the benefits too of the B6 S4. Just ask S4sweetie.

 

I would stay away from the 1.8T engine. They are expensive and like to go BOOM.

You obviously don't know what your talking about. All engines without proper maintenance will eventually get into problems. And if the 1.8T was so problematic why so many of us have that engine?

 

Just picked up my first Audi.Founda Black2007 Audi S4 with 3000 miles on it.Figured I'd spend a little bit more and get something I won't have to worry about for awhile hopefully. Had a a lot of different type of cars in the past but the Audi is really impressive. Looking forward to owning my first Audi.
