I have a 96 A6 audi 2.8 (non quattro) with 225k on it. I want to remove the driver side valve cover gasket but am finding the hose to the cover is really difficult to remove. I thought it was just an o ring fit with some kind of compression collar. Is there a trick or tool i should use. I do not want to break it. Also, it appears that two small mounting bolts for a bracket will have to be removed as well before taking the cover off, agreed? thanks for any help.

 

I dont know but will be doing this soon my self any answers would help
