Default 2 different Audis to chose from. Which to get?

Hello Audi forums! I'm here to get info on two Audis I have been thinking about getting and would like some advise!

I'm looking to get some kind of Audi wagon. I have recently been looking at a certified pre-owned 2008 A3 s-line. I found one in a manual and I really like it. I drove both the manual and automatic and It's sporty, it's got the room I need comfy, the color I want, yadda yadda. It's also got low miles and an extended warranty 2014/ 100,000 miles. This sounds great to me!

I also found this 2005 S4 Avant. I'm thinking this would be a mean machine to own. Still have the room I want, the fit and finish of the audi that I like, but not sacrifice any speed/ fun. I briefly emailed the dealer about the warranty and they said a powertrain could be purchased for 3 years/ 36,000 miles. It's already got 90,000 miles and I'd like it to last 5-6 years like the M3 that I am selling for the purchase of whatever Audi I get.

I am in Orlando and the A3 is in North Carolina and the S4 is near Anaheim, CA.

So, A3 or S4? I don't want something that will be $$$$ to maintain, I want longevity sportiness, the room of the wagon and something I can live with. Comments on maintenance, suspected problems with either car, and anything else my untrained eye can't see would be great!
