A3 automatic (1996) will not start
Car will start with ignition on and bypassing starter switch. New switch installed. No difference. Noticed the gear selector display on dash is showing gear selector to be in drive regardless of position of gear selector. Can't find any info on where the gear selector switch is located that controls the starter immobiliser.
