The handle inside of my car snapped off. The cable is still there but I can't open the hood. I've read other threads that say to take the front chrome part off but that was for the 05's and previous. The 06 has the chrome that goes all the way to the hood. If someone can please help me out with how I can get this darn thing open I'd really really appreciate it.y car is screaming for oil and coolant and I have to change my high beam bulb.

I did and a friend of mine pulled and u could here the front clicking but the handle makes the cable come up and out with the pliers ( or vise grip) just makes the cable come out.
