Can anyone help me please.

I have a 2004 Audi A4 1.9 TDI auto and the gearbox has started what it seems like sticking in gear when coasting. Instead of changing to a higher gear it just seems to stay in the gear its in then revs up. The gearbox oil has been changed so hope its not nothing serious!
