I purchased my 2004 A6 S 2.7 twin turbo 265 HP 80,000miles for $9,800. Fair deal for a used car. However I couldn't believe the original cost of $43,000. Personally, I would be very upset due to all the problems with these cars had I paid $43,000. They all leak oil from the half moon cam chain seal. My HVAC fan squeaks off and on. For some weird reason at exactly 57MPH and at no other speed, the ABS will cause the front brake to come on pulling the car to the right for a second then releasing. (at least I think its the abs brake) Its amazing how these cars get a pass from professional car reviewers. If this car was a ford or Chevy with this many problems at (80,000 miles) the press or car professional car reviewers would be giving this car the 3rd degree. For $9,800 I will deal with the problems and don't have a problem with it, but for some poor sap who paid $43,000 its a huge rip off.
