Hi, I stupidly ran out of diesel in my A6 Avant 1.9TDi. I put 4 litres in and tried to start it and no joy. I then added more diesel and now there is over 25 litres in the tank, but it still won't start. The battery is nearly flat now. Is this something my partner can fix (he is fairly handy around cars, changes the oil, etc) or will the system need to be bled at a garage.
