Default Air filter replacement

I'm wondering what is the extent of disassembling that should take place to get the air filter on 2003 A6 2.7 replaced?

I was able to open the air box (clams only)but did not proceed disconecting all fuel hoses and wires that prevent the box to get open.

Is this really necessary or there is a procedure that is less awkward?

Any drawing please?

(on my old 4000Q takes me more than 1h to replace the air filter and a week to get my fingers healed)

Any nints are greatly appreciated!

You should take this problem to the A6 section on this forum. (If you haven't already).

Best of luck.
