My new 2017 A4 Prestige Plus (tech, cold weather, Manhattan Gray, Black, Aluminum) is slowly trundling to Seattle from Houston. I hope. First Audi since my Audi 90 many years ago. Happy to be back.

I test drove everything in the segment - C300, 3-Series, Q50, you name it. Nothing compared, although credit where it's due, the C300 has a lovely cabin and my wife almost convinced me.

Ultimately the cabin noise and virtual cockpit made the decision easier. I got a reasonable deal (or at least I got a rival dealer to basically give up on trying to match) and I'm superstitious enough to assume something could still go wrong.

I was considering an A6, for quiet and comfort, and awkwardly, this was a better choice.

But all things being equal, and assuming it arrives in the next week or two, it will be the best car I've ever owned. Can't wait. Is there a thread for tech-Easter Eggs?
