Hey everyone, I'm new here. I currently have a 2004 Mustang that I bought brand new a year ago, but I've already put 22K miles on it driving to college and back. I owned a 1996 A4 2.8L before I bought the mustang. I also have a 99 Dodge ram 1500. Well I deciced the trade the Ram off for a 1998 A4 1.8T because I hated the mpg on the Ram. So this will be my 2nd Audi....sadly it is has AT though. Since the Mustang is my primary car I was hoping to possibly mod my A4 since I bought it just to have some fun with it. What mods would you suggest doing to it? I really don't know much about Audi's so any help and suggestions will be apprecated!

Mike, I'm new to Audi's as well and I know this was an old post but if you just do a search on the A4 2.8L V6 12V it will give you more than enough info and links on mods you can, should, and probably won't do. I have the same car and I bought it to scoot from GA to TN every other weekend and drive to work and back. I know just in a few days that I have done research on this car, here's what I've come up with.

1. The mods you can do are gonna be mostly cosmetic. Markers, Wheels, Suspension, etc... etc..
2. The major performance mod is the supercharger which is like 6k
3. You can pick up a K & N air intake for about as cheap as any others out there at like 170.00
4. Clean up the engine and throw on a good set of plug wires

Everything else is gonna run you big money and not much HP, if I was gonna drop the 6200 for the Supercharger, you might as well trade in your A4 and throw the 6k towards an S4
