buying tips

hey
i was wondering if anyone had any buying to tips for a 1997 audi a4 1.8t quattro. Also if anyone knows any good shops near or close to Vienna VA.

Welcome to the forums! Hope you like it here. As for the buying tips, the biggest thing I can reccomend is just what Jestnomen said. Make sure you get as much of a service history as you can. What are they asking? Sorry, can't help with the VA shops, try the Regional forums.
