COLD START PROBLEM - Audi A4 2.0 TDI SLine 2005 140 BLB
Hey Guys,
New to this forum, not use to the Jargon.
Ive recently had an engine changed as the oil pump went which caused the chain to snap and the engine ceased.
Since the engine has been changed the car does not start first time after it has been left for about 4 to 5 hours. It takes several attempts, it sounds like a battery is nearly flat, it starts up really slowly after about 15 - 20 seconds or so.
Ive had the glow plugs, starter motor, fuel pump changed and also the relays to the fuel pump checked, Ive spent so much money on it and dont have any more for trial and error.
The last garage i have taken it to say that nothing comes up on the diagnostics but he thinks it could be the injectors, from what ive been told that the Injectors are not cheap.
Someone please help before i have to take it to the dealers.
Thanks Guys
Navidio

Navidio , does the engine turn over slowly or does it just take a lot of cranking before the engine starts?
If it is turning over slowly there is most likly a bad starter , poor battery connection , bad battery cable or bad battery.
If take a lot of cranking it is possible the fuel is bleading back to the fuel tank when sitting over time.
I would recommend a shop that can diagnose before more parts are thrown at the car!

One of the garages has mentioned that there could leavk injectors or injector seals, is this a possibility?
