Hi there. Ihave an 03 A4 1.9tdi and had some water ingression into drivers footwell the last time it rained. Since then when I press accelerator nothing happens (except traction control light comes on). The guy from the AA seemed to think the TPS was faulty as there was wetness in there but couldnt verify. Any ideas?

Well i would not condemn any parts until you scan the car & see what fault codes you have. You will probably have faults in the ecm & abs modules.
If there is no communication , bet something got wet.

 

Cheers for advice, took it in to garage and it is the tps. I unblocked drain holes under battery as well (nightmare!)
