I'm tearing into the engine on my wifes '98 A6, where should I be looking to post and interact with other mechanicly inclined audiphiles?

 

It depends on the engine. Most likely it's a 30v 2.8 V6. Guys in the A6 forum like member 02A6Beau post in there and he knows his stuff. Another area to ask is the B5 A4 forum - it's the most active area of the site and many in there have that engine and can help.
