Good morning from Michigan
Good morning!
I have never owned a VW or Audi, so these vehicles are a bit strange for me. However, I am looking for a nice used sedan with awd to do a bit of driving over the next few years due to athletic involvements....so I have come to the experts for some help....
I'm looking at a 2007 or 08 A6 3.2. Any tips, suggestions or advice from the A6 veterans.
My background is that I am stepping out of my Suburban into something smaller with better gas mileage.
I need a bit more rear seat space for 3 teens and the A6 seems to give me both.
Lastly and more importantly, the car needs to be attractive to drive for my wife as she will be using it for extended trips, as she is an ardent "truck" driver with her LandCruiser. I can't argue the looks and nice performance from the A6 for a distinct possibility in the near future.
Other than a comprehensive extended warranty, is there anything else I should consider? Or should I steer clear of the A6?
I am a one banana mechanic and currently use Mobil 1 on all of my vehicles, as well as the standard maintenance issues. But the engine bay on the A6 is a bit intimidating to me, and I would rather have local experts take care of this.
Thanks
