Just wanted to say hello, I've been perusing this forum for a while now and finally joined up. I've never owned an Audi but I am currently on the hunt for one. Recently test drove an A4 sedan and loved it. I had to break the news to my wife that it was waaaay more fun to drive than her BMW. I've owned lots of European cars over the years, including a few BMW's, several Volvo's, a couple old VW Beetles, and a Triumph TR6. Most of the cars I've owned have been at least 10 years old, which works out well for my wallet....well ok, not always. So I've been reading loads of consumer reviews on Audi's, which would probably turn the average buyer off, but I'm pretty accustomed to European cars and their quirks...and for all the reliability that Japanese cars offer, they're just no fun to drive. Plus, I'm a sucker for German cars and their sex appeal. All that said, I'm on the hunt for an A4 or S4 Avant, preferably from the early 2000's, and just to make it even harder, I want a red one with black interior....although I wouldn't be opposed to a black one with black interior. So anyway, here's a big hello from central Illinois.
