Sup everyone, my name is Alexei, I am originally born in Russia and currently resigned in Long Beach California, I am a part time student and a swimming coach. I am currently driving a 2009 Toyota Corolla, but really want to be driving a 2001 Audi A4. I am very mechanically inclined, so my plan is to purchase an Audi which may need engine work, since I will be rebuilding it either way. I have 1 more year left on my Lease, so hopefully I can have an A4 ready by then. I registered here, to get an insight and any recommendations.
I have yet to decide where I will be conducting the build since I have no room in the garage. The garage is a two car garage, but got a 911 targa sitting smack dab in the middle. Last time I worked on an engine, it was a modular 4.6L DOHC, and the city came to my doors and asked me to stop all major mechanical work. So I might need to rent a storage garage, and work on the car there. I will be posting another thread under the A4 section feel free to follow me there.
