Bought an 1997 A4 Quattro 1.8T 5 months ago and have a hesitaion problem. In the mornings when the engine is cold it runs perfect( lots of boost and accelerating smoothly. Once the engine warms up it starts hesitating when i accelerate or under load. And recently I went for a drive and it started getting worse, so I pulled over and took a peak under the hood to find the Turbo and manifold glowing red HOT. And i was driving totally normal!!(No heavy accelerating or fast driving). Please can anybody help me. I cant seem to find out what the problem is.
