Default Hi from Canada... the East end! :)

Just wanted to say Hi and let you know about a site I started for VW/Audi enthusiasts.I'm a member of a VAG club here in Halifax and we were hanging around my garage one nite after a gtg talking about all the extra parts and pieces we had left over. From this we came up with the idea of starting a classifieds site for people like you and I... strictly VAG vehicle owners.

It's set up by region for US and Canada and can be used by private parties and dealers alike. It's designed to be userfriendly and , most importantly, free. It's new so there's only a few posts yet but it's getting tons ofviews from all over North America every day. Check it out and let me know what you think. If you like it, tell a friend.

There's lots more Audi owners out there that may be able to make use of your extras, post them up!!

www.vagclassifieds.com

Jeff

PS. I know this seems like spam but I really am a real person, I really do like VAG vehicles, and I will revisit this forum. I promise!

Hi,
Nice to hear from you. Being utterly frustrated with the pace of development, cost of living and degradation of social fabric here on the Cape, I picked NS as my go-to place for rejuvination. I actually have a little camp in its midst. Good to hear from you, hope spring is starting to burgeon up there. I'm not making the trip as often as I'd hoped, and I miss it.

I love the Cape!

My wife and I honeymooned there 11yrs ago. Beautiful drive down the coast through all the little towns, I really did love it. We've already decided that when the kids get a little older we'll be doing the trip again.

Spring has sprung as of today, finally. It's 14C here today and sunny. It's been a long cold winter, one of the colder that I remember. It'll be a nice evening to install the new boost guage I picked up yesterday, with the garage door open!

Where abouts is your cottage? There's a lot of "midst" here in NS We're building one this summer down the eastern shore, right on the ocean. It'll be beautiful, I can't wait.

A couple dozen miles into the woods from New Ross, closer to Forties.

Keep in touch. Perhaps we can arrange a house-swap for a week at some point, if you are interested. You're a fireman, I take it, I work in government on coastal/environmental issues and also as a part time police officer. Depending on the size of your family though....my property is verrrrry modest, lucky I could afford anything at all!

I was down that direction yesterday as a matter of fact. Went to a buddies cottage at Molega Lake. I'm back towards Halifax from there, Exit 5 outside of Halifax.

Ah, yup, been past Molega Lake but I've only made a couple or three trips 'round the Province total. Once for a conference, once to check out real estate, once to revisit what I bought. Wish I could've afforded something on the coast, but I've got real modest means...at the time, the US dollar was running stronger so that helped. My place up there is off of Deep Cove on Sherbrooke Lake. Power but no plumbing, thus far. Would've preferred the opposite, but had to go with what was readily available.

Originally from Dartmouth, N.S. - now living in Washington state. I miss Nova Scotia's (lack of) traffic but not the inevitable springtime potholes...
