You won't be able to get an S4 with the V8 for low bucks - it's too new a model.

You can't chip either the V8 nor the 3.0 V6, so if you have any desire to do the chip, intake and exhaust, then I'd consider the 1.8t A4. The 2.7t S4 is a hell of an engine to mod, but be prepared to spend some bucks.

oh if only it had turbos. []
Now your talkin'!!! Then I'd reconsider the money!

Isn't that what's rumored for the S (or is it the RS) in the next couple of years? A 3.2 TT I think?? I think I heard the S8 was coming back soon as a TT V8 - it may be just a rumor.

That used to be the rumor.. but it was squashed with the official launch of the RS4.. which has a 420hp N/A V8.. A lot of people love it though.. Personally, I wish they would've squeezed in the twin turbo RS6 engine in there instead.. That would've been crazy!!

Uhmmm, yeah.... preaching to the choir here renn=art. That's always a given with n/a engines.

Right... I should have clarified. "Can't" was innacurate - I should have said "not worth it".
