Just thought I'd introduce myself as I'm new to the forum. I currently drive a 2005 A4 Avant TDI Sport as well as a Alfa GTV Cup (best of both worlds). I've today ordered a new A4 S Line TDi Avant. I've owned both Audi's and Alfa's over the years and whilst waiting for a new car it's great to talk to others in the same boat and get their views.

I'm sort of surprised at the lead time I'm being quoted of 25 weeks but I suppose I should acknowledge that Audi is more popular than ever these days. Still a bit miffed though at effectively 6 months wait, albeit at least I'll get the new "62" plate reg. I'm assuming it's due to the Daytona Grey Pearl paint job as everything else is stock S Line.

most of us (active) are from North America. unfortunately dont have access to some of the diesel tech you euro folks have access to. I've noticed a decent amount of new members from the UK so perhaps you guys can pull up in a corner of the forums and get a little support group going.
