Default Introducing Myself A3 1.8T Quattro

Hello everybody, my name is Juan, i'm 23 and i'm from Buenos Aires, Argentina, i've recently acquired a 2000 Audi A3 1.8T 180HP(AJQ) Quattro with 5 Speed Manual transmission, this is my first Audi, and i'm trying to do some modifications to the car since it has already been modified but i don't agree with many of the mods it already has, the car has the following mods: a Borg Warner KKK k04-001 turbine, a Forge CAI, 2,5" cat deleted exhaust, 3" Downpipe, 4 BAR Fuel pressure regulator from a VR6 Golf, and a Revo Stage 2 repro, since i had a lot of problems since the first day i started using it, i've decided to change a few things with my mechanic, we changed the 4 original coils (2 were failing) for Hitachi New ones, same with spark plugs, new Iridium ones, had to change also the exhausts manifold bolts since they were broken and the engine was dropping pressure in that point, new fuel pump (original), new n75 (original) and new diverter too (they were all really tired), since after having all this stuff changed, the car was still with fails in the daily driving, i've decided to return it's ecu program back to original, we used a standard map and he modified a few, and a lot, of settings for managing the k04 correctly, the car was entering limp mode everytime i steped on the gas or everytime i WOT , but now at least, i can drive it fine, even though, i dont like the actual program since i think it can handle much more power for sure, but actually im saving some money for reaching Unitronics Stage 2+ (i'm thinking on having 4 386CC Injectors from TT 225 and the MAF housing in 3" (maybe used, or maybe i could make it in INOX), the point is that now i will stay this way until i jump to Uni Stage 2+, what do you say guys? how much power can i reach with the explained configuration + 386CC injectors + 3" MAF housing, and the uni stage 2+? any experiencies with this? remember i have a k04-001. Thanks everybody and well.. Hello! Some Pics of the Car!

I'm not sure how much power you can get with that setup but I too think it's a very nice car and looks well taken care of, welcome to the Audi game.

The A3 is a very fun little car. Have fun re-modding it and keep us posted on your progress.

Welcome to the forums!
