...and I need some help.
I've been an infrequent poster here, and I'm hoping you can give us some guidance.
Last Friday, my wife's A4 started to shake violently under load, and virtually all the lights on the dash came on. She limped it into a gas station and had it towed to the dealership.
Their diagnosis was a burned valve caused by excess oil use. The car is an '09 with just 50k miles. While all maintenance has always been done, I've groused about oil usage, tho' the dealer didn't seem perturbed at the time.
In any case, two questions:
-does this sound like a common problem? I've tried searching to no good purpose.
-Considering mileage, do you think Audi will stand behind the car? The tech at the dealership was optimistic, tho' he has not been able to confirm anything thus far.
