Bought a 2008 Subaru Impreza 5SPD hatch, it was Dark Grey metallic, got it back in 2009. Any who I installed Front and rear sways and end links, did a hybrid intake, and a catback flowmaster 40 series. I took it every where and the thing would mosh through snow, I drove that thing through 3.5 feet with snow chains on and peoples heads turned. It was slow as a snail because it was a non turbo Well he gave me 3 years of his life and in the end thats what he lost. He took me and my family to the beach, and camping, and in the mountains, and was an amazing Car. He took me 18 hours straight from Big Bear, California to where I live now in Vancouver, Washington. Now to the story, 2 weeks ago I was coming home from an event for my work it was about 12:20 Am and I stopped at a 4-way intersection, I stopped and there were headlights in the distance but really near me. I proceeded into the intersection and the car to my right hit me head on going 40mph The car was a 2001 Audi A4, he spun me 2 times across the intersection. I got out called 911 and walked to the Audi, it was totaled but still running! The Drivers window was rolled down a bit and he was unconscious and was choking on the fumes from the motor, i forced my arm inside and unlocked his door, shut off his car, and fanned the fumes out with a few people who stopped. The cops showed up and sent him to the hospital on a stretcher. He is fine as am I. My Subaru however is not, see my signature below theres a pic of him, totaled He was turned into a boomarang but he saved my life. I stood in pouring rain and cried as I watched him be towed away, I even ran after the Tow truck as it drove away...Immediately I went on the hunt for a Scoobie, but as a test drove them it just wasnt the same, I tried Mazda 3's and well countless cars and it just wasnt doin it for me So my friend calls me and says i want you to try something different..I say ok. So he shows up with his 2001 Audi A4 at my house i was like no way man. And Well after about 5 minutes of sitting in it, well we all know the story "if You give a mouse a cookie" lol. So I drove it and well fell in love. The car has 58,000 miles on it and is sooo clean, I just couldnt pass it up, he offered it to me for what he bought it for a year ago which is $8000 dollars. Im over paying a little but hell hes my friend. I got my check from my insurance today for 15,000 dollars so I will either pick up the car tomorrow or on monday depending if our schedules jive. So well i've been roaming around this site and theres a wealth of info here! Sorry for the long story but well thats just how it happened. Looking forward to chatting with every one.
