1.8 T 5M Quattro

Had it for about 3 weeks. Did a brake job, fixed wiper arm, installed a decent looking shift **** (didn't come with one), and have been thinking about getting the HID retrofit kit. Stock halogens are decent, but just dont light up enough road. i got a pretty good deal on it, only 41k miles. I am thinking about selling for an S4 or chipping this and seeing how i like it. If it's not enough, i have thought about a new turbo, full exhaust, and new injectors, but it seems like i could take that money and sell this and get the S4.

Welcome to Audi Forums GreenZ!

Since you're new... check out the START HERE! (click this link) link to get a rundown of the lingo/vocab here at audiforums.

Then be sure to search the archives when you have a question. Chances are the question has been asked before (probably several times) and the archives will have plenty of information to answer your question. If you still need answers, please feel free to ask questions.

Don't feel intimidated; we are all a bunch of pretty cool guys (and gals). Feel free to post advice, comments, ideas, suggestions, and even pics.

not too wild about taking wire cutters to my nice stock lenses. might get around to it but first i have to decide if i'm going to keep it or not. Looking at some of the newspaper ads around here, i could sell it for a decent profit. Or i could keep it and pray i can afford the repairs. I had a friend w/ a 12v 2.8 and his transmission went, cost him $2800 plus labor[:@]

It's very easy to do if you have the right tools and are very patient. The best jobs I've seen (including mine) were done very slowly and very carefully.

glad to see someone else is keeping the night shift. on all the other forums i'm the late night monkey. Thinking about those HIDs, but the money for those is half way to a decent APR or GIAC chip... oh, decisions...
