This is my Noob thread, I am SO proud!
I'm working on finding an inexpensive 'round town banger for the next eight months, which will go to my little girl upon her licensing (Everyone should learn to drive a stick [WATCH IT, PERVS!] plus it is hard to text when you have to shift!).
Learned a LOT so far, thanks, I'll have more questions once a four circle car is in the garage.

I had a busy morning, signature updated!
Car is a one family vehicle, Silver w/ black leather, has 121k, ABS problems, Nasty sounding Cam Chain on cold start (I think?) broken passenger window, torn armrest, and never had a timing belt (but did get the free inspection at 85k per the paperwork). A few dings and scratches, but looks pretty nice inside and out. Will need to see what the Designated Inspector of Cars Knucklehead from the State of Maryland finds, I am betting on at least some suspension items and two new tires. Sales price (eventually) reflected the above issues and potential Maryland inspection items, so overall a good deal I think at $3,100, plus I was tired of reading about these cars and ready to dive in to some work!
Lucky for me, my Uncle has a hot rod shop I can play in, and my little girl says she is willing to put in the effort with me. Quality time!
Successfully programmed the garage door, and then did the first driving lesson with a clutch through the neighborhood (went surprisingly well, must be genetic!).
Off to research the armrest repair, and timing belt kits . . .

Now that's out of the way park that damn car! 121k and no timing belt? You're just asking for bent valves! Sounds like you have a bit of other work ahead of ya! Good luck and hope to hear good things from ya!
