I am new to the Audi Forum and appreciate the opportunity to ask for advise. I purchased a 2002 Audi S6 Avant over a year ago and want to look at a couple of performance upgrades. It has been lowered, new coil over suspension added and a MTM exhaust.

The next step is looking at a chip (I live at high altitude - 8000ft.) and a free-flow air filter.

What are thoughts on the two items above and how much of an increase in horsepower would I gain as this car is a naturally aspirated V8. Also, I was told there are some gains in MPG by adding a chip at high altitude (not sure if this is true).
