Default Need your advise

Hi I'm new to the forum and Audi's in general.

I'm in pursuit of this vehicle and need your opinion to see if its a good buy and for the price. We have agreed on $16,000. But I would like some expert opinion.

Hmm that seems VERY expensive. You can almost get an S4 for that price!

At what price do they typically run. I've been KBB, Edmunds, NADA, they ran from 15000 - 17900. So I'm really confused. If you think its too high - do you recommend then just looking for another A4? I'm just so new to the Audi market. Honda's are a lot easier :

yea the price is high. but it does look good and it only has 40k miles on it. thast honestly the highest price ive seen on a b5 (96-2001) a4 though. shop around, i always say its better to buy a car thast stock rather than modded because i would be willing to bet that that car has been driven hard.

I am new to Audi, but not to buying new cars. That is not a good deal.

To put it in perspective, I just bought my 98.5 V6 quattro with 67K miles for 8600. So far it's worked out great.

I also agree with everything that Sandman noted above. I mean, with a sig that looks that good - how can you not??

KBB, and Nada values are always really high for our cars for some reason, you can always buy them a hell of a lot cheaper than what those too companies say. For 16k look into an S4. For starters check out the classifieds section at www.audizine.com you will find you a car there pretty quickyl.. welcome to the forum!!
