New 2005 Cab...Help!
Yes, I love the car, but I have noticed a distinct delay between when I hit the gas and when the engine responds. I took it to the dealer and they said this is normal for the cabriolet. it is so noticeable that when you floor it, you can detect that NOTHING happens instantly, as if the pedal is connected to nothing! has anyone noticed this?
Seconldy, I had xm installed by the dealer and it came with no manual whatsoever. Can anyone please guide me to instructions on how this thing works?!
thank you and I'll be glad to return the favor anytime!

I have a new 05 Cab (6M), 1K miles, and no similar problems. Rapid response to the gas in all gears... I'd take it back to the dealer again and force them to deal with the situation. Does not sound "normal"
No insights on XM, mine came with Sirius. Good luck!

Hmmm....if you are driving your cab and start rapidly pressing and depressing the accelerator, does the engine respond? This seems to be the ultimate evidence of something weird on my car. More subtely, when I go to change lanes, there is a definitive 1 second or so delay before engine kicks in. Let meknow if you try the experiment. thanks
