Hi all. I'm a renewed Audi owner, having defected from Saab ownership just a couple of weeks ago.

I recently sold my black '03 9-3t and bought an '02 A6 2.7t with 75K on it. It's got a few minorish issues that need addressing. Thanks to the articles on here, I'm hoping I can accomplish much of the work myself.

Right now, I'm looking at:
1. Lower oil pan gasket change (if I can find the da** thing to buy)
2. Valve cover gaskets and chain tensioner gaskets. Still trying to find a good picture of how to swap out the half-moon and the metal gasket that seems to go with the cam tensioner.
3. Control Arms. I'm pretty sure I can manage this one. I plan on using the auto hobby shop at the Academy to do it and take a few days to do it right.
4. Engine mounts. Aspen's quoting $2000 to do these. If anyone can tell me if this is a reasonable price, please let me know.

My sole impression of Aspen Auto Clinic here in the Springs was a good one. They are polite, willing to walk you through the issues AT the car, BUT their prices seem high to me.
