Hey everyone! I'm new here, and well I just picked up my first Audi vehicle. I got a '04 A4 1.8T. It was a hard decision (I was looking at an A4, G35, and 3 series). I'm dislikeJapanese cars as a whole(as i'm a euro head) so it basically came down to Audi VS. BM ... and well,I was more inclined to get a BM, since my previous ride was a '98 328i. All in all, it was hard to let the BM go, I loved that car so much and have had it since2000 lol, hard to part with it :'( ... But I decided to go with the A4 and i'm loving it (... no more or less than the328i tho :P ...) ... Let's hope this car is as good to me as the BM was.

Just wondering though, is there any outstanding problems or concerns that I shouldtake note of in regards to my specific model/year or audi in general? Again it's a 2004 Audi A4 1.8T.

haha, great choice on the new car btw, you will find the Audi to be a little more fun if you ask me, the only real problem that they have that are unusual is this seeming lack of power which causes an addiction to warranty voiding modifications hehehehe

 

First thing I would think of would be the coilpacks. Do a search though and see if you can find anything else. I don't know of anything specific to fronttrac though because I have a quattro. Good luck and welcome to the club!
